Currently AGA is getting a make-over, this new side bar included as well as a new skin. Polls will be up shortly for an activity this month, make sure to pull in your vote. In other news, the weather is now up so make sure that you follow that accurately. Our other Admin, Cassie, won’t be on as often but we all hope she comes back soon!
The thought of riding on an empty stomach definately didn't appeal to me; but the thought of looking around for a fast food restaurant on the other hand, was much less appealing. Which explained my prescence here, at the park. Where I was found sitting in one of the swings. The playground was deserted, as was the park itself. It was somewhat eerie, but the weather made up for it. A perfect seventy-five, I would have guessed. Back home the temperature could have easily reached ninety-five, due to all of the exhaust from cars. I honestly could have cursed at the weather then. Just stand in one spot and yell at the sky, the entire time knowing there wouldn't be an answer shouted back. That's how dimwitted I could be. On the bright side though, this wasn't New York. Or Conneticut, which was always too cold for my comfort.
I looked like some kind of stuck up beauty queen - sporting a pair of skin tight denim knee-high capris, a white and black striped top, a black abercrombie zip-up hoodie and black slipper-like shoes. Beauty queen was one thing I was NOT. I swung in my seat, listening to the rhythmic but somewhat annoying creak as I rocked back and forth. I sighed and looked around, memories from home ran through my head. As I looked into the sky, I pictured a small girl, about 5 and her mother pushing her on the swing - of course, they were Kal and her mother. I pushed my blonde bangs from my eyes as tears rolled down my cheeks.

Nathan's head throbbed from a recent fall he took off of one of the younger horses, Fancy That, a horse who had her own opinion on everything they did with each other. But they were slowly becoming a pair. Slowly was the keyword right there.
As Nate kicked a rock and watched it bounce into a pond near the park, a sound he knew to well came into play. A swing swinging, and besides that nothing. The squeaking broke the silence; the eerie silence.
As he pivoted around to see who he had walked by, he noticed a girl he had never seen before. How was that possible? He had no idea, but somehow he managed it. Slowly he walked over, taking his footing carefully so he wouldn't trip and make his head throb even more. Note to Nate: Wear a helmet next time riding Fancy

I brushed my feet along the rocks, my head bent down as I looked at my feet. I brushed my hair from my face, tears rolled down my cheeks. Sunlight broke through the clouds, I looked up slowly, spotting a shadow in the distance. I squinted slowly, then noticing a boy. My attention had been torn back to the gravel, trying to hide the fact that I was crying. A small breeze lingered in the air, blowing my hair all around. I looked up again, playing with my hair. That annoying flip again! Hours I spent flat ironing my hair. I looked over at the boy, my eyes quite red. "Hhhi there.."
